| Galen Gallegos has been a performer/writer/director/producer/minister in Arizona and throughout the Western United States for over thirty years. He holds a BA. from Arizona State University (ASU) in Communication and is a certified Speech, English and Theatre Teacher. His Masters Degree is also from ASU in Educational Administration and his certification is in administration. He has been an educator, school administrator and is a licensed minister. He is one of the original individuals who started Master’s Commission, (graduating in 1985) a national and now worldwide ministry in which young people have been used all over the world by God. He has served as a children’s pastor and done crusades, camps and television for youth. He has written and implemented curriculum emphasizing drama and the production process used by both churches and schools as well as having authored countless skits. Galen has also had the privilege of independently as well as collaboratively creating major Christmas and Easter productions seen by multitudes of people over the years, and, as noted in the production section, has created or co-created several other productions dealing with a wide variety of issues and topics. He recently released a musical/video production entitled: An American Parade which chronicles the history of America both biographically and musically through a combination of music, video and live performance and he recently completed a similar type of musical production entitled: The Gospel of John in which live actors perform on stage while the character of Jesus interacts with them while depicted on screen.
It is Galen’s desire to equip and help empower the body of Christ to not only bring quality and excellence to the performing arts, but in doing so, bring back commitment, dedication, integrity, and unity to the church; thus allowing God to bring an anointing so that His genuine will can be accomplished for His people.
