Skits

| Whether they are called skits, sketches, or short plays, the material listed in the following five categories is and has been used effectively to communicate God’s heart in a dramatic, comedic, practical and poignant way. These skits can and have been used in church services, youth groups, camps and conferences and even as television shorts. They are great for drama groups and several of them can be accompanied with a CD which has music and or tracked sound effects similar to the plays and musicals. They cover a wide variety of topics and will be a blessing to whoever uses them. Skits are owned upon purchase and their quality is a reflection of their price and the fact that they can be used over and over again. For all skits, a confirmation/receipt will be generated for your records via e-mail (see download link) and a simple agreement will be attached protecting both you and TMI. (Please read it.) Those that have a File (Sound Effects/Music) accompaniment are very detailed and performance specific. (See Mime and Complex Skits for example.) Simple Skits
|
|
 |
Avariety of shorter sketches running from 4-8 minutes teaching biblical truths by way of simple and easy to learn scripts. Most are humorous, and can be easily used and adapted to fit any program. Great for youth groups as well as drama groups just learning. Easy to ad-lib if necessary. |
Soul-Winning Skits

A tremendous teaching tool for showing how to share the Gospel. Using a variety of scriptures, these skits deal with the before, during, and after of soul-winning. Again, these are great for youth groups as well as adults, and range 5-10 minutes in length. |
Complex Skits

|
 |
These take 12-18 minutes to perform and have very well-defined plots. They are message oriented and utilize a good deal of scripture. They are both comedic and dramatic and can be extremely fun to do as well as entertaining. If you are ambitious and ready to work, these skits are the way to go. |
Skits for Mime
|

 |
These skits are primarily movement oriented as that is the process of pantomime. Some of them are accompanied with narration, while others are strictly without any speaking. All of them can be accompanied with music and contain very specific stage directions. 5-10 minutes in length. |
Biblical Skits

 |
A series of skits that are both narratives by individual bible characters, as well as dialogues between others. Good for children, as well as individual events such as Christmas or Easter. They can range in time from as little as 5 minutes to as much as 15. This segment is a work in progress as more will be available soon. |
Parable Skits

Based on the parables of Jesus, these skits ranging 5-6 minutes in length, are short, witty, thought-provoking, crisply humorous and can be used to illustrate sermons or bring a point home in Sunday School. And although they are suitable for “Reader’s Theatre”, memorization will make them even more powerful. |
