Consultation When you are ready to begin your video production department, we are more than glad to come in on a consultation basis. Please note that it is not necessary to have gone through the Setting Up Your Own Workshop first, however, it is recommended. Either way, there are a number of ways we can accommodate you at this point:    1. Post Set-Up:   After you have purchased the necessary production equipment, a crew of two professionals (experienced in this area as it specifically relates to churches) will come in and set-up your department. This is usually a 1-day process depending on the complexity of the situation. Positioning cameras, laying down cable, setting up the area for the director and going over equipment, editing and procurement of various other equipment will be all part of the process. It is highly recommended that the people who will be part of the church/ministry crew be available during this process so that after completion they will be familiar with what has been put into place. Remember, they will be there when we are gone. *Basic set-up would include up to 3 cameras/director’s booth/audio/cable- runs/RTS (intercom set-up) *Please note that Lighting may or may not be an issue, and may be an additional charge depending on the system you currently have and or the makeup of your facility. 2. Training for:   *Camera Operators both in groups and one-on-one. *Directing camera shoots, how to use a switcher and operating various other equipment related to video production. *Lighting and audio and how to make it work specifically in your venue. *Producing a final product and how to go about finishing a project from beginning to end. 3. Editing:   Because editing is a skill very specific to television, consultation in this area may be difficult. As a result, unless you are blessed with someone capable of doing this, it is possible that we can provide that service for you at a reasonable rate. The easiest way that this may be accomplished is to send us your unedited material, give us a rundown of what you want, and allow time for a final product to be sent back to you. We are already doing this for other churches. Training for all of the above components can be accomplished in approximately a ½ day 4-5 hour session and would include hands on camera/director/audio/and any other technical components necessary to the completion of a product.
